Alaskan Yellow Cedar soundboards

Alaskan Yellow Cedar,(Chamaecyparis nootkatensis),aka Canadian cypress is an excellent tonewood with a fine even texture, very close-grain and cross silking. It is denser than Western Red Cedar, with a specific gravity very close to Sitka Spruce. It has a nice light yellow color and a pleasant aroma.
