Ash guitar sets

European ash (fraxinus exclesior) is cream white to light brown sometimes with a sound dark brown to black heart. Ash is tough, heavy, straight grained and flexible with a coarse but even texture. The wood is strong relative to its weight, and has good stiffness and hardness. It's considered one of the very best woods for bending and is used extensively for chairs, furniture and cabinet making. Ash has a specific gravity of .71 which makes it comparable to sugar maple or koa.
