A guitar fingerboard or fretboard is a long thin strip of wood along the neck of a fretted instrument. The most common wood used for an instrument fingerboard is ebony; however, many builders are using different exotic woods namely Ziricote, Granadillo, Honduras rosewood, and Bocote.
